On or around May 5, 2023, the pro-Russian hacktivist group “Killnet” published a fresh list of DDoS victims on Telegram. The group listed 16 domains as victims. Killnet frequently includes evidence of the disruption in these posts in the form of a Check-host page with the victims’ URLs. A website called Check-Host informs users whether a website is up and running. The collective’s Telegram channels, which include numerous channels connected to Killnet including Anonymous Sudan and Anonymous Russia, were used to retrieve the victim list.
After the Telegram Group was established on January 18, 2023, Anonymous Sudan began with the statement “We will launch a cyber attack on any country that is against Sudan.” The group attacked the burning of the Holy Quran in Stockholm, Sweden’s capital, just 5 days after its founding, and it didn’t stop until March 2023. Denial of service (DDoS) assaults were launched against a number of Swedish businesses. They targeted the government, education, banking, airport, and healthcare sectors. Anonymous Sudan has declared that they will support organizations who aid them temporarily.The group has launched a series of DDoS attacks, particularly against Sweden, Denmark, France, Australia and Germany.

UAE Cyber Security Council has already proactively alerted all the government as well as private organizations to take precautionary measures to prevent the anticipated DDOS attack. Which eventually helped all organizations to reduce rather stop the impacts of the DDOS attack proactively .
But on 6th of May 2023 this group has conducted DDOS attack which lasted for almost 3 hours and took down few websites in UAE.
Eventually after 3 hours of persisted attacks Anonymous Sudan publish the list and screen shots of impacted websites lists.
Later Anonymous Sudan has declared that they have stopped the DDOS attack after conducting it for 3 hours and clamed to be successful and satisfied .Also again stating a threatening statement that they are going attack the banking sectors in UAE . Anonymous Sudan has conducted this DDOS attack on a large scale and they are continuing their targets by following their propagandas .
As a precautionary note there are some IP addresses which are recommended to be monitored , blocked and diverted from the externally published websites and applications.
